THERE were a couple of news last year and this that have affected a lot of us even though the people concerned may not be ones we know but they are of very young ages. It may be a taboo that no one wants to talk about it much but here is my two penny worth.
Do you know that two thirds of British adults suffer from mental health issues at some point in their lives, according to new research by the Mental Health Foundation. And closer to home, do you know many teenagers or even adults find it difficult to fight their battles of depression, anxiety and OCD.
From Prince Harry’s work with “Heads Together” the charity that he founded alongside his brother, Prince William and his wife, the Duchess of Cambridge and to Lady Gaga’s open letter on PTSD, they are stepping out in helping to destigmatise mental illness.
No one is perfect even if some of us may strive to be. But if one takes some time to look closely around, there are people who need our care and love.
Make it a point to ‘not judge’ and replace that ‘Just Love’ – little step we can help make this world a better place for all.
